“All the goodies plus alittle” Hot off the production line and ready to go N819WK is the first production FX2 with the Lycoming 363i and fixed Pitch Sensenich propeller. Carbon Cub FX is built on a wholly original fuselage design. The CNC milled 4130 chromoly steel frame features robust construction and may be flown at up to 1,865 lbs (FX-2) allowing a useful load as high as 833 lbs. The sophisticated structure is built to be both lightweight and safe. The Carbon Cub FX is our most capable off-airport machine. Building on the success of the high-strength, lightweight airframe and powerful engine of the Light Sport Carbon Cub SS, the Carbon Cub FX flies faster, flies farther, and hauls more cargo than ever before. Redesigned ailerons, slotted flaps & empennage, along with a Premium Equipment Package specifically suited for off-airport operations, are included with every new Carbon Cub FX. With Its light weight, impressive power, generous payload and capable equipment, the Carbon Cub FX fulfills the most challenging missions. N819WK is equipped with specific options for off airport and backcountry adventure. On the exterior painted in glossy jet black over silver with red and black striping and trim the airframe also includes vortex generators for added slow flight maneuverability, L.E.D. lighting and strobes for improved visibility both in flight and during landing and takeoff. The landing gear is heavy duty 3×3 with 1.75” grove brakes. This combination indeed improves the pilots ability to land short with heavy braking and reduce incident risk. 29” Alaska bush wheels as well as the 3200a tail wheel suspension and acme black ops pro shocks help make most challenging, short field landings a breeze. On the inside, the latest in avionics and materials help provide the pilot with the best situational awareness available and comfort for the ride ahead. The garmin G3x suite with garmin com and gtx345R transponder guide you where you want to go and safely. For comfort, the 307 autopilot allows you to take a break and relax during the cruise flight. Fine leather seating front and rear, excellent visibility and storage help round out your backcountry flying experience. This one indeed has it all and is ready today for delivery. |
